Post-Doctoral Candidates

Positions may be available in the areas of developing fast mid-infrared imaging for cancer detection and grading, in fabricating specific molecular probes for early cancer detection and in building novel bio-polymer composites. Interested candidates with a strong background in any of the following fields are encouraged to apply: spectroscopy, pathology, biological probe synthesis, microscopy or numerical computation. Extensive potential for collaborative research exists within the university and off-site locations. Candidates must complete studies towards a PhD and/or MD prior to their start date. Please contact for more information.

Ph.D. Graduate Students

One position remains for a talented graduate student interested in the following fields:

  • Cancer detection and diagnosis using spectroscopic imaging techniques
  • Nanomaterials for biomedical applications
  • Cell biology and tissue engineering
M.D./Ph.D. Students

Positions are frequently open. Must be interested in cancer pathology and molecular biology. Contact for more details.

Undergraduate Students

Students interested in conducting research or in laboratory positions should apply. Projects appropriate for BIOE, ChemE, MatSci&E, CS/ECE, Biology or Chemistry majors are available. A limited number of positions are available. Apply early for summer slots. No prior research experience required. Some relevant coursework required.
